General Info
The Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History has been called “a hidden gem” and selected as "One Of The 1000 Best Places To Visit in Massachusetts" by the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. The Spellman Museum is among the top museums in a Metrowest's readers' poll, and selected as one of Nickelodeon's top museums for children in the Metrowest area. The Museum believes that adults and children should be encouraged to visit cultural institutions, especially The Spellman Museum as it is a museum where learning about history, geography, famous people, world cultures and the arts is done by the exploration or stamps and philately. Our recent lectures and exhibits on general subjects, such as the Holocaust, storybooks, wine and food, kinetic art, history of coffee, quilts, letter writing, origami, children's puppets, seeing eye dogs, and Helen Keller attracts a wide audience. We are open Thurs-Sun 12-5pm and can open the museum upon request Mon-Wed.The Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History has been called “a hidden gem” and selected as "One Of The 1000 Best Places To Visit in Massachusetts" by the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism.
